Of course we missed Uncle Johnny as this was the first without his presence. Ryan made mention that he might get his cheeks pinched and I realized that WE are the cheek-pinching generation now! Yikes!
We had a nice visit with Kathleen and Nick just before the reunion weekend. It was a few days that seemed to be filled with unattainable potential. We went to the Ommegang Brewery near Cooperstown but it was quite crowded so off we went on the "Beverage Trail" which somehow vanished. We did, however, locate a lovely farm near Otsego Lake that we'd found for sale several years ago and had intrigued us since. It appears to now be occupied and named something ultra-chic. We took a walk at Otsiningo Park just about 24 hours before they had to close it for flooding dangers!

As Kathleen and Nick continue their 2013 NY tour, we wish them well. It's so nice that they make the effort to come north and check in with everyone! Memories are made on trips such as this. Thanks again, Jean, for hosting another memorable event on the NY Tour circuit. There's nothing like la famiglia.

Having just got back 3 days ago, we looked at our pictures today. It reminds us of the great time we had over the 3 weeks with everyone.
